The History of Slot Machines

The first slot machine called the Liberty Bell was invented by Charles Fey in 1895. However back the term "slot machine" was used for automated vending machines, additionally to gambling machines. Only in the 20th century the term "slot machine" became limited to the gambling machine we all know. In Britain it is also called the Fruit Machine.
